The signal is clear: Claude no longer wants to be just a chat app, but a place where work materials are produced, from documents to presentations to videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"to-2\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How it works and who can use it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You can ask for an animation in any chat, or type \/motion in the message box.<\/strong>, you choose a template and attach the report, data, or images you want to use. Each animation is written as <strong>code<\/strong> that moves text, graphics, shapes, and images. This means you can ask &quot;slow down the second scene&quot; or &quot;change the third quarter data to 18%&quot; and the rest of the video will remain the same, something impossible with traditional video generators, which redo everything from scratch with every request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At launch Claude Motion is in <strong>beta on Team and Enterprise plans<\/strong>: enabled by default on Teams, but must be enabled by the administrator on Enterprise. It doesn&#039;t have a separate cost, but it does consume the plan&#039;s usage limits, like the rest of your work on Claude. Tools like Claude Motion reduce this part from hours to minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are three consequences. The first: <strong>the volume of videos will increase<\/strong>, because producing one will be cheap even for those who have never opened After Effects (we talk about it in the comparison between <a href=\"https:\/\/bigfive.it\/en\/ai-video-vs-traditional-production\/\">AI video and traditional production<\/a>). The second: video enters contexts where it previously did not reach, such as internal reports, onboarding and commercial presentations; for actual commercials, however, the same applies to <a href=\"https:\/\/bigfive.it\/en\/ai-powered-commercials-costs\/\">costs of AI-powered commercials<\/a>. The third, the most important: when everyone can produce, <strong>the difference is made by quality<\/strong>, and the quality is not in the instrument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#039;s the same dynamic we saw with AI-generated images: in just a few months, feeds filled up with technically correct and identical content. Those who continued to stand out were those with an idea, a taste, and a method. A confusing brief becomes a confusing video, only faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then there&#039;s the issue of choice. Today, the landscape is made up of dozens of tools: Claude Motion for data animation, generative video models for realistic scenes, avatars, voice acting, and editors. <strong>Knowing which one to use, and when to combine them<\/strong>, it&#039;s already a skill: an explainer for the board of directors and a commercial for social media require completely different tools, languages, and rhythms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, there&#039;s consistency. A corporate video doesn&#039;t stand alone: it must resonate with the logo, colors, tone of voice, and other brand materials. <strong><em>The tool generates the video, but it doesn&#039;t know your brand.<\/em><\/strong> Someone who knows him has to explain it to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"to-6\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The skills that make the difference<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If execution becomes automatic, the skills that come before and after matter.
